omr software - mac compatible

Does anyone know of any mac-compatible omr software?

My office needs to scan surveys with answers that respondents will bubble in. (The surveys are formatted and created in-house; they are not the pre-made scantron sheet type.)

It's my understanding that almost any scanner can be used, but that it is the ocr software that actually handles the omr. If that's correct, the only omr software I could find requires a PC. We would like to connect the scanner to an iMac G5.
