Thanks, Peggy, but I've checked through the box several times, all we got was an iWork08 disc in a paper envelope, no instructions, no serial numbers. Apple Support says that because it was pre-loaded with the computer, there is no serial number and we must buy the serial numbers!
This is the behavior for those which didn't bought iWork.
They get a pre-installed FREE 30 days trial.
The paper envelope has a white on red label on the top-right corner stating "trial version".
You may use this one during 30 days.
If you want to use longer you must buy the product.
Two tracks available to do that:
(a) buy a registration number. You will be sent the registration number
(b) buy an iWork 's box. You will be sent a box containing
the CD
a get Started booklet with a colored cover
a small black and white (8 pages) booklet with two labels displaying the registration number.
The contents of both kinds of disks is the same.
As far as I know, if you buy the single registration number you will not receive the "Get Started" booklet.
You just need a registration number to be able to use the "free demo" on the long time.
On every versions is a folder containing the PDF User Guides in several languages.
