I, too am having this problem. I've had it with the last couple of versions of iTunes. A year and 1/2 or two years ago, I'd have no problem backing up any playlist (video or music) or my entire library to DVD (data). It's been that long since I re-backed'up my stuff. This concerns me because I buy a lot from iTunes.

I e-mailed support, and the gal was no help at all. She sent me the general information on burning disks & backing up to disk (everything I'd already read when doing a search in support). I don't know that I can contact her back directly. I have her name, but the e-mail addy from which she sent her message is a general apple one.

Anyway, I'm wondering what the heck is going on here. I've tried to burn backups about 10 times in the past two days. It's worked one time. All the other times I get either the 4000 or 4900 error.

???????????

Error 4900 When burning discs PLEASE HELP ME !!!
