Best earbuds for tiny ears?

Hi All,

Have not seen a post about this topic yet...I am a regular sized adult female but I have really small ears and all the talk about uncomfortable earbuds has me concerned that when I get my nano I will have problems with the stock earbuds. So wanted to get a jump on what I might get to replace them. Anyone have tiny ears find a good comfortable set...I am not looking for the cheapest but don't really want to spend hundreds of dollars either. Thanks

Tammy

Tammy - my wife could only wear the Apple earbuds for about 10 minutes before she pulled them out in frustration. I gave her my in the ear canal set from Shure and she loved them but wasn't willing to pay the $100 price tag. (I listen with ear plugs more than she does - she listens in the car mostly.) She settled on a pair of clip on the ear style from Radio Shack. They were around $20 and actually sound pretty good except for rather weak bass.

I also have extremely small ears and I found that the regular Apple earbuds only fit if I wear them reversed - right earbud in left ear and left earbud in right ear. I've been wearing the original Apple earbuds like this for months and they're reasonably comfortable, but yesterday I finally bought the Apple in-ear headphones and they fit even better. Once I figured out how to get them in and I got used to extra noises when the cord is bumped (they're not good for active wear), I found them to be very comfortable (much better than the earbuds).

Getting the in-ear phones in the ear takes some practice - I read somewhere that you should pull your ear up to open the canal and then twist the earphone in using a circular motion. That seemed to work.
