Trapcode 3D Stroke

I downloaded the trial version of Trapcode's 3D Stroke plugin for After Effects, Motion, and FCP.

But...knowing me.... I'm lost.

I've seen the intro videos for After Effects, but apparently the procedures are different in Motion???

Has anyone worked with 3D Stroke and would be willing to give a noob some insight?
