can I uninstall front row?

i keep hitting the magic shortcut to front row (which i have never used, and didn't even know was there) and it drives me crazy. i don't NEED a 'media center' thanks. can i trash it without breaking anything? why is it even there? there is more documentation in the apple help about 'automator' than there is about this mysterious application. i mean we have itunes, iphoto, i everything, and now we have to have 'front row' suddenly? yes, yes, i know i can turn the keyboard shortcut off, but why even have it on my computer?

You can delete the Front Row application from the System folder. It's found in this path:

Macintosh HD/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app

You will need an administrator password to do this. You may also want to delete the "Front Row" application that's in your main Applications folder. This is not the real Front Row application, but a shortcut to the one that's buried in your System folder.
