CHANGE WHEN CAPSULE BACKS UP?

Can i change how often this capsule is backed up to with time machine? it does it every hour, day and week.
also, can i continue to work on files it is backing up?
and can i choose folders not to back up?

1 gb capsule, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Use an application called Time Machine Editor to change the frequency of backups.

You can carry on working while Time Machine is backing up.

You can exclude folders or drives from being backed up.

Is this application something i have to purchase? it's not a feature of the time machine backup?
How do i exclude folders from backing up?
It just starts doing its thing and i don't know how to alter that.

Time Machine Editor is a free download - google it.

To exclude folders, open Time Machine Preferences and click Options. A window opens labelled "do not back up". Click the "+", and add the folders you want to exclude.
