Help me Please!!! How do I download .exe files successfully.
I am trying to download a program which is a MS-DOS Executable file. It has ".exe" at the end of it. I have heard that these are for Windows computers only but I figured I would give it a shot and ask to see if anyone had a solution to this. Please someone help me out and tell me how to download an .exe file successfully onto my mac which is version 10.4.11. Thank You!
I have an iMAC with Tiger 10.4.11 (intel chip) and was wondering if I can execute .exe programs now? I thought the whole reason it was good to get the Intel chip was because it would allow me to run windows programs. Granted I need to be REALLY careful with doing that because it opens me up to viruses but can I do it? I've downloaded my employers software program but I can't get it to execute as my system is stating there is not an application available to use to open it.
Thank you for the post BDAqua. Now that I know how to do it I just need to decide if I really want to open my system to the possibility of viruses. I'll need to think about that one awhile. But you at gave me the info in case I decide to try it. Thanks
