How to change the order of phone numbers in Contacts?

For the phone numbers for a specific contact on my iPhone, I may have: 1. work fax, 2. work, 3. home, 4. mobile. For the same contact synced on my Mac, I have, in Address Book: 1. home, 2. mobile, 3. work and 4. work fax. I obviously prefer to have Mobile first.

Is there a way to control and change the order of phone numbers for a contact on the iPhone?

Before you sync your iPhone the next time, activate the option "sync addressbook" and "replace all Contacts on iPhone". The next sync will replace your contact info on your phone. From that point on all contact infos will be the same on your mac and and your phone. And changes or new infos will also be seen on both systems.

I'm using MobileMe. I crated a new contact in MobileMe, the contact sync'd in about 5 seconds to the phone (WOW!), but the numbers were not in the same order as I had them in MobileMe.

Any suggestions?
