I recorded several clips with Game Cam from World of Warcraft, and put them on a flash drive in AVI form, first tried to put them in Quicktime Player, and it said an error message containing, "This thing doesn't have the necessary duration" or something. I try to put them in final cut pro and they won't work there either, even though AVI is supposed to work. Someone please help me, my junior year exam depends on your help. Thanks.
Read the manual? Try some things? Experiment? Explore the program? Try and be a little self-reliant? I doubt any one here has any direct experience with your problem. We can throw out some ideas, but why not try some things on your own?
There is no manual. I expirimented. I explored. I tried the stuff on my own. I attempted to be self-reliant. Forums are made for people who need help, therefore your belittling my asking for help on the forums seems kinda stupid imo. You're saying noone here has any expirience with Streamclip when two people from this post are, in fact, the ones that suggested it to me. So why would they possibly suggest it without having any expirience with the program whatsoever? Did it ever occur that maybe I wasn't asking for your help in particular? Perhaps maybe my question only pertained to those who suggested the program in question and who have been helping me with it from the start? Thanks for your help though, really, I value the time you took out of your important life to attempt to degrade my intelligence. Bravo Micheal. Bravo.
Thanks 🙂 I thought I looked at that and all I saw was properties (size and req for installation, etc.) But maybe not, I had to reformat my computer cause the first streamclip I installed was a virus.
I said I doubted any one here at any experience with YOUR problem, not with mpegstreamclip. And I've tried to help previously in this thread. I didn't degrade your intelligence. I was suggesting that you had the ability to solve this problem on your own with a little bit of effort. And you would have learned a great deal if you had done so. Sorry you chose to be insulted. I'm signing off on this thread.
Good luck.
jeez David, read the thread. The original post mentioned the problem he was having with the material in finalcut. If you don't have anything useful to say, don't post. I'm really sick of your attitude. (This is where I should put one of those stupid emoticons to make it clear I'm kidding).
