Does anybody know if there is some AUX adapter that you can plug into the heaphone output of a CD Player? This is so I can plug wires into the AUX input, from my Nano.
By AUX, are you referring to Red and White RCA inputs? If so, you can get a headphone-RCA adapter at any local electronics store, including RadioShack and BestBuy.
If i'm understanding you correctly, and the AUX setting on your stereo grabs audio from RCA inputs, then you'd connect the adapter, and then switch to your AUX input setting.
Yes, I wan't to play the music from my Nano to my CD Player. The only thing is, it's only jack or hole is the headphone hole. My CD Player doesn't have the AUX setting. But can I still do what I wanted to do as above, if so, how? (I don't want to buy the FM transmitters and bluetooth devices are too expensive.
You need to get a 3.5mm male to male adaptor wire from Radioshack or some other electronics store. Just plug one end into the iPod and one into the AUX port. You can probly access the AUX mode by pressing CD twice on your car radio. It differs from car to car so you would probly want to read your owner's manual.
- I have a Panasonic RX-D29 Portable
CD Player.
- It has no AUX port built into it (which means it doesn't have the AUX setting/mode available to choose from it)
- It only has a heaphone jack (3.5mm stereo), and that is all.
- I tried double-clicking on the "CD" mode button, and nothing happened.
So what I am asking is:
a. Can I still use a headphone-to-RCA adapter (and the cable) to connect it to the iPod Nano, even though my CD player doesn't have the AUX mode? Is there a way around it?
b. If not, can I somehow listen to my iPod Nano through the speakers of the CD player. Avoiding FM transmitters (not excellent quality)and bluetooth devices (too expensive).
1. Can't you turn the headphones jack into an input with some device or adapter?
2. The speakers are internal (Panasonic RX-D29)
3. So this is no other way (excluding FM and bluetooth transmitters) to play my iPod Nano through my CD Player?
