"Recycling" iMac G5 LCD

I've got two G5 iMacs where their logic boards failed. I've upgraded to two newer Intel iMacs, but I want to reuse the LCD screens in the G5s. Is there any way of building them into another screen?

(I looked elsewhere on these posts, but couldn't find anything).

Thanks in advance!!

I was wondering if you still have those G5 LCD's. Hopefuy this wil send you a note that you have this reply as I cannot find an e-mail for you 😟

I am trying to get an LCD to go into my 20" iMac G4 and I am looking into retor fitting one from a G5 and also at making the screen run off of VGA. It will be easy to run the data cable to VGA but the hard part is trying to find the pin configuration for the inverter 😟

send me an e-mail if you ever get this 😟

Thanks,
Garrett

Did you get a reply for this as I wold be very interested as my G5 died, graphics problem, 1 year after a new power supply (paid for by me not apple), it was in the number range but Apple Switzerland said no go for a replacement as the warranty period ended in Dec 08.
Both problems and Apple said NO.
I have owned (got) a Macplus, ColorClassic, 630LC, PPC5300, iMac 333, 2 iMac 500DVs, iBook G3, 2 Powermac G3s, MacBook 2007. And been responsible for the switching of at least 7 PC users and subsequent sales, down to walking into the shop with them.
but they still said NO
