Apple Movie Rental Audio Problems

I haven't had any problems with movies, but I did have a problem with a bad audio track on a TV show. If it's happening with only one move, that file is probably bad. You should go to the Purchase History section of your account information in iTunes and click the "Report a Problem" link for that movie, then report the audio problem to iTunes store support from there.

Are you listening to this movie in DD. It isn't possible for dialogue to be missing but other sound be there if you are only listening in stereo unless the file is bad in some way, but it is possible if you are listening in DD, it could still be a bad file but it could also be a bad connection or wrong setting on your audio system.

I suppose it's also possible that if you are listening in DPL that your audio system is also the problem as well as it being possible it is simply a bad file.

Ditto for me on this same title. CLEARLY something wrong w/ the file itself. As a workaround, I took my A/V receiver to a Dolby ProLogic cinema setting and it made it listenable, but not what I paid for, that's for sure.

Forbidden Kingdom just did the same thing to me. No center channel audio on Dolby 5.1. Other movies are fine. I tried to report this online using the "report a problem" feature in itunes but when I go to submit the info it comes back and tells me "itunes cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later". That's since last night and now noon the next day, same response.

As a workaround, I've sent an email to apple but they sure don't make it easy to find out how to do that. Grumble, grumble.....

So much for "it just works!" Heh.

I had this problem with a movie one time... I did a Reset All (but not the network settings) and things worked fine after that.

I'm having the same problem. I just rented Forbidden Kingdom and the center channel has no audio. The other 6 channels work just fine.

Same with me.. just rented Forbidden Kingdom, and no dialouge track. Have the music and sound effects going, just no speech from the center channel.

I am also having the same problem with Forbidden Kingdom. No audio for voices all other sound works great. I performed a reset and still nothing

I am also having no center channel audio with Forbidden Kingdom. Reset did not work.

The voice track is audible if you go into Settings:Audio/Video and turn DolbyDigital output off.

Oh yes; sorry! I did the above step first. (Turning off DD).

Same thing. I also rented Speed Racer, and audio was just fine on that movie.

I reported the problem and got a refund. Hope it gets fixed soon as I do want to see it.

Same thing happened to me just now. Same Forbidden Kingdom movie rental. Wish I'd read the workaround fix before deleting. Does Apple have any kind of refund policy for something like this?
