(R) Registered Trademark symbol

I sent some to my wife a few days ago. She has a blackjack 2. All she gets is squares.

Also sent them to my daughters phones, same thing. They have some cheap flip phones.

What cell phone has the R registered trademark? I know of none.

from my understanding these only work to and from iphones

I just sent some symbols to my dad's iPhone and they worked. Don't think I would be bothered clicking through every Japanese number to find certain symbols though.

This is a big issue for me atm. Is there a way to get the ™ symbol to work on the iphone? or maybe an app with copy/paste capability that can help me.
