How to configure an Oki printer on Mac

I'm trying to configure my Oki C525O for my iMac. I've entered a name for the printer, I've entered the name of my iMac, but then it wants me to select the printer from a list of products. The only problem is; Oki isn't in the list. What should I do now?

iMac 24'' Intel (White), Mac OS X (10.4.11)

How is it connected, USB, Ethernet, other? (can't find specs on it).

You can use the Generic PS PPD if need be.

The Oki is connected through USB. I have never heard of something called the Generic PS PPD; what is it?

Using Printer setup utility, what shows up under More Printers?

The Generic Postscript PPD/postscript driver only works for postscript printers (printers that have a postscript interpreter built in). The Okidata 5250 isn't a postscript printer.
