i "I, personally, don't think that they should have a itrip for the nano"

???!!???

At 4GB (3.73GB actual), the nano can hold 68 hours of music imported at AAC/128. This drops to about 34 hours when using AAC/256. 160 & 190kbps hover around the middle areas of this range.

Just how many hours of music do you
i think
one
i needs
for a car stereo? Just how long of a trip are people taking that require 20GB or 60GB of songs?

Even the 2GB nano is more than adequate for 99% of all automobile trips. Surely, one can find enough music in 34 hours to satisfy any eclectic taste of the moment.

This is why you have iTunes - to re-sync music when you need a refreshed playlist. One need not feel compelled to carry their complete music Library with them at all times.

Your 'thinking' needs some thought. 🙂

I bought an iRiver aft-100 fm transmitter for my nano. It works and sounds great in my Blazer. You can pick one up at Best Buy for about forty dollars.

The only thing I do not like about the iRiver is the auto-off feature. If it does not detect audio within a thirty second time frame, it will auto-off. This means I have to keep my nano above %50 volume just so the iRiver will not shut down. It also means that songs with long intros that slowly fade from silence to loudness can cause it to shutdown as well.

Overall its a great product and sounds great in my truck.

The only problem Joe, is that the poster of the question did not ask if you thought it was a good idea or not, he was only asking if it was available. Based on the 10's of thousands of topics on these pages...sometimes personal opnions that do not pertain to the question are not useful and should be avoided.
