Can't see NAS drives in Finder

I'm setting up the D-Link DNS-343 (4-bay netwrok attached storage) on a MacBook, 10.5.5. I also run WinXP via VM Fusion. Once I got the two drives past hanging at 94% format (deleted cookies per FAQ), I could access the NAS via the web UI from both the Mac and PC sides, but I can't see the drives in Finder or Windows Explorer. I've played with the settings, updated the firmware, etc., but still nothing. Any ideas?
