Hi, i don't know if this is the right place to post this, but today, the laptop has been shocking me. It has shocked me 3 times while using it. Two times near the left side of the macbook and once from the underneath. All three times on my left hand. The third time it shocked me bcz i was moving it up from my lap w/ my left hand. The third time happened less than 10-15 min ago. It's 10:50 pm right now.
I'm typing this right now because my left hand feels kinda weak and heavy now and I'm having a hard time typing with my left hand right now.
Is this occurring when you are powering the MacBook from the power adapter or from battery? If from the adapter, is it connected to a properly grounded electrical outlet?
There are a number of possibilities. Is the outlet you are connected to properly grounded? This is the most common cause of electrical shocks transmitted through the computer.
I believe so. I've used it before many times and it has never given me trouble. I'll have to check. I'll be out of the house for the week, but i'll have my dad check it out.
