Unable to download configuration profiles

Unable to download configuration profiles

Hi all,

I have created a configuration profile in the web config utility and uploaded it to my webspace, but when I navigate to the URL in Safari on my iPhone, it won't let me download the config profile, it just opens it up as an XML document.

Any ideas?

Did you create the MIME type for the web server to recognize the mobileconfig type of file?

Thanks for your help. Decided not to do it in this way in the end.

Just exported the profiles and emailed it to the users. Got the profiles on to the phones no problem.
