From what i got from a quick web search seems to suggest this is a subscription based service from Real. The answer is no, none of today's Ipod are compatible with any subscriptions based service. Pretty much if you want to legally download music online, it's through Itunes.
This is my first IPod, so I've never bought downloadable songs. Since I got my nano, I've purchased several songs and a CD through iTunes.
Are there any better/cheaper services (unlimited monthly downloads comes to mind!) that will work with the nano, or am I stuck with iTunes and (thank god) making my own songs?
No you can't really use any other online service because Apple is the only one that really has access to their fair play and ipods of course won't work with what the rest of the market uses DRM protected WMA's. So basically your stuck with Itunes or one of the CD's which is still Itunes compatible (some Cd's are now actually getting DRM protection when you have them on the computer)
I completely understand this post and thread.. but you drew my attention talking about DRM protection. are there any links where I could find out all there is to know about DRM or could you elaborate for me. and I gave you 5 + votes for a great post on this subject. Thanks Dan
