I am having a problem where Safari response drops to a crawl. I have identified that it has to do with some plugin, but cannot determine which. Is there a way to disable/delete/uninstall plugins? Or, for that matter, to identify what plugins are installed?
15" MBP,
Mac OS X (10.4),
Currenly have: 1 MBP, 1 PB, 1 iMac
I've already done that, which is how I know the problem is with the plugins. I now need to determine which plugin is causing the problem. To do that I need to be able to remove them from Safari, or disable individual plugins.
I might be having the same problem. Sometimes it seems my Safari just completely stops working. It will load about an inch worth of blue in the address bar and then never load the page. I disabled plugins and it seems to have helped. How can I look at the plugins I've got on a Mac and see if any of those are causing the problem?
Once I set my Inquisitor preferences to search through Yahoo it's been working fine. I also followed the steps to clean up the Safari preferences folder in my user folder as described in the other thread:
I saw a Twitter tweet from who I believe was the developer that said they know about it and are working on it. I guess I can deal with Yahoo for a few days.
