can I record music from RCA to iPhone?

Hello!

I have a little question. I want to record some sounds to my iPhone and I want to know how deep I can go with it. First of all I want to record wav(aiff) with 44100 and 16 bit stereo files from RCA to iPhone. Can I do this with Apple Composite A/V cable or I need the RCA to MiniJak cable and record via it? If anyone knows software that can do this please tell me the names. And one more thing - can I regulate the input signal on iPhone or I need to regulate it on the source?

Thanks a million

Have no clue at what format it records or what level...my guess a very poor one (eg: phone quality, mono).

Search the AppStore for any Voice Notes program. Also there is EverNote that if you use it, it uploads your voice notes to their webserver for you to access from a computer via a website (thus can download what you recorded) so you can get a copy of it.
