Best App to covert .wmv to .mpg

I was wondering what is the best App out there to convert .wmv to .mpg.

I have Flip4Mac but I want to actually convert the file.

Also .mp4 is that the same as MPEG 4 for iPods etc?

yes .mp4 = MPEG 4

The link to the demo says that it will convert WMV (windows media video) to mpg and mp4 for use in QuickTime, AppleTV, iPods and iPhone.

Some other 4 or 5 star forum user just told me easywmv does not do wmv conversion...don't know what's up with that, but F4M does work...however, only for the paid version. If you can find an old copy of Visual Hub, that would do it, but it's recently been abandoned.
