US canada $ exchange Stocks symbol

US canada $ exchange Stocks symbol

I would like to get the US canadain dollar exchange rate visable in the list of stocks.

I thought the symbol might be USDCDN=X

However the IPhone does not recognize this symbol. Does anyone know how I can get the US to Canada exchange rate to appear on the stocks botton of the I phone 3G?

I tried USDCDN=X.

This did not work. The messge remains "Type a company name or stock ID".

fyi - in the app store there are afew apps (some free) that do currency conversions - and support a multiplicity of curencies -so you can find how how much 11 Canadian dollars is in Mexican pesos 9for example)

the ones ive used will update the rates on some time basis if you have internet connectivity

i use one called i currency that tries to get the current rates every time you launch it - but it only showws 1 conversion at a time - there is another (free) one that shows you what one currency is in a multiple of other currencies at the same time

they both let you pick your base currency
