Dec 31, 2010 7:32 AM in response to patient teacherby Pancenter,It's imperative to keep the mac away from vibration. Hard drives are
susceptible to continued vibration and Logic will eventually report errors.
The computer needs to sit on a stable surface with some padding
(foam?) underneath, don't block any of the ventilation/fan openings.

Dec 31, 2010 7:33 AM in response to Pancenterby patient teacher,Thanks for that - but what about the magnetic field of the speaker? (powered 15 inch + horn) -
Dec 31, 2010 7:33 AM in response to patient teacherby Pancenter,If you keep the Mac away from vibration... you will also be keeping it away form the speaker.
To be honest, I'm not really sure how much magnetic interference there would be, I'm guessing that the laptop would have to be in the range of 12 - 15 inches before problems arose. You really don't want a computer near or on top of a speaker.
