I cannot send emails on a consistent basis through my router (Linksys WRT310N). Everything was working fine for about 5 months until yesterday - Oct 16th. (Is it possible that there was an auto update that caused issues!?). Almost every email I try to send ends up sitting in my outbox forever. The odd message seems to eventually get through??? I seem to be able to receive messages ok.

When I plug my MBP directly into the router no problems but when I try and send through my router the message sits in my outbox for a long time. Many of the messages won't send at all?! I can also send out emails through the same router on my PC (from the same email account).

Linksys suggests that it is a driver issue, but I'm not sure. I'm thinking that it is the a router issue still? Apple asks for $399 plan to look into this for me.

Please help.
