How do I change volume after automation?

How do raise or lower the overall volume of a Track (real instrument) after I've added Automation points?
Do I have to export and re-import the Track or is there another way?

(The track fader SHOULD move all the points up and down for you rather than become disabled as it does)

Well, maybe in version 5. (I hope we're all sending these helpful suggestions to GB Feedback).

select all the curve points and drag them up or down (clicking in the header area of the curve will select them all)

That's good, unless the bottom points are at nil. (As mine are. I was taking out unwanted noise from a sound sample I can't re-record. Maybe there was a better way to do that, but I'm not really versed in the EQing and stuff yet, as far as removing a specific sound).

Thanks for the reply.

Not sure if I misunderstood the question. But if you click on the curve header it will select all the curve points. This lets you adjust the volume of the whole track and keep all the automation points.

Yeah, you're right (as HT also said). If I click in that header area all the points are selected. Then if I drag one point they all move together. Pretty cool, thanks. (The only catch is when the bottom points are at nil. I still have to select them individually to get them back to the bottom). For my purposes now I'm probably better off exporting and importing to adjust overall volume.
