iPod nano (4th gen) problems
Let me start by saying I am not happy with the compatibility of the 4th gen nano! I keep my OS and other applications up to date -which has become very frequent but thats for another post.
We have 10.4.11, iTunes 8.01, 3 ipod nano (2 or 3 gen) and now the one new 4th gen nano for my son to watch videos and listen to a little music.
*My problems started when I connected the iPod*.
It would not recognize, after several tries, I checked the apple support site.
Reset nano, reinstalled the nano software, with a couple iTune crashes and some frustration, I finally got the songs and video on the pod.
Now every time I connect the pod to my computer it does not recognize it. I have reset this thing 2X since the original set-up. This happens even when I charge it because iTunes starts and something gets corrupted.
My biggest problem now has to do with my jump drives, ever since using the nano I lose my files from my jump drives.
Any help or other people having like troubles? Is this an iPod problem? seems like others are having the connection problems too. Anyone having troubles with their jump drives after connecting the 4th gen iPod?
I am a teacher and use my jump drives daily! I have loved Apple up to this point and I feel ripped off with this new nano plus I am concerned it corrupted my usb connections. Never had trouble with my usb jump drives before this. Both jump drive are now losing files?????
