Please Help! I can't sync my ipod!

I am having the same problem, upgraded to itunes8, I have a Macbook. Now whenever my ipod it isn't recognized in the itunes library at all!!! HELP I want to put song etc. on my ipod, but since the upgrade my ipod doesnt show

Im having the exact same problem! I downloaded the new itunes and now its saying that it doesnt recongnise my ipod! Its telling me to download itunes 7.6 or later, i tried that but nothing had changed...I dont know what to do! HELP!!

I have a similar problem, but does your pod show in itunes when connected? Until a proper fix is published, the following works:
left click and hold on a track you want to sync
drag the track over your pod icon in itunes
your playlists etc will drop down once you're over the icon
drag track to "music", and release left-click
your pod will then sync, BUT ONLY THAT ONE TRACK!
you have to sync tracks one-by-one, sadly.

Will someone please publish a proper fix?

FFS!!!! I've discovered the problem: New iTunes download has Manual Sync as default.
Connect your pod, when the iPod screen opens, choose the Summary tab. Then select Automatic Sync: You will be asked if you wish to erase your iPod, but AGREE: everything in your Library will then be synchronised with your iPod.
