where is the tidle "~" key on older keyboards?
I think I'm in the right area. I have create a help video for those that wish to use the DOSbox application on their Macs, this is an emulation of DOS under Windows but running under OS X, however to get it working the "~" tidle key needs to be used and some people are complaining that they cannot find that character on their keyboard.
I have a Jan/2008 MacBook and the tidle key is located at the bottom left of the keyboard, but apparently not so for older keyboards. I tried looking up the char in the Character Palette and found that its Unicode number is 007E and UTF8 number is 7E but trying to type either of these while holding the Alt key (as can be done in Windows) does not work.
So how does one attain this unlabelled key in DOSbox with older keyboards?
