Seeing my documents in my BlackBoard course window

Using my MacBook with BlackBoard.
I am downloading my course materials onto my Blackboard account.
When I add my documents they show up in the weeks folder but if I try to open them they just download into my download folder instead of opening up in my blackboard window.

Is there a way to resolve this problem so I can view my documents in my BlackBoard window?

macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.5), BlackBoard

Hello! I'm not sure this is the best venue for that question, which is specific to the Blackboard course management system and not really an AirPort Extreme question at all. But anyway, in my experience using Blackboard, it really depends on the kind of file you are opening; pdfs can open in the Blackboard window on a Mac, but Microsoft Office documents will download and have to be opened separately.
If you want to pursue this farther, I recommend you talk to your campus Blackboard sysadmin; s/he is the best person to solve this for you.
