So I sent apple my 2(Gen) 16GB Ipod touch . For them to check out why the Wifi is untraceable or barely noticeable to other networks.So what if apple finds nothing wrong with it. Well they send me back my same exact IPT? Or well they send a refurb or new?

Chances are they will test it right on top of their router and send you back the unit. Sorry, but I am beginning to lose faith in Apples desire to deal with the Wi-Fi issues on the Ipod Touch 2G.
I don't understand this posting. You'll find out what Apple's repair technicians do when they tell you. One of two things will happen. Apple will either fix the problem or they will tell you they see nothing wrong and not fix the problem.
I can tell you that my 2nd Generation iPod touch works great on wi-fi at home and in many (not all) locations where I have tried it.
When we receive your iPod and confirm that the service request matches the iPod's condition, we will send you a replacement iPod that may be new or refurbished. The replacement iPod will be functionally equivalent to your iPod when new.
