Creating 'enhanced' CDs

Hi
I'm trying to create a CD with music tracks and pdf files of lyrics and chord sheets.
I've tried creating blank images filling them with appropriate files and then burning. I leave the disc appendable for the first burn then uncheck that option for the second burn. When I put the resulting disc in a PC it shows as blank. In a CD player it shows as blank. On the Mac that created it it shows as two discs in the finder and all files open but iTunes does not 'see' the music CD image.

Thanks didn't think of that.
However..
I created a burn folder and put the aiff files from the cd I had burnt from iTunes plus a folder with pdf files in it. The Mac recognised the resultant burnt CD as an audio cd and opened iTunes. So I tried it in a Hi-Fi CD player and it can't see it. The original CD burnt from iTunes does play in the same Hi-Fi CD player

Plus- why would multi seession CDs fail?

Thanks again
Chris
