Java 1.6.0 for Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger)

I need Java 1.6.0 to run certain applications on my mac. There doesn't seem to be an update for java on Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) which I am using.

Is there plans for a release? Did I miss some update? Because if they plan on keeping the update only for 10.5 that's just evil. (Unless it's not possible... )

and I have heard of soylatte but it's like jumping through loops of fire to get it installed.

Please tell me it's on the way.

Thank you!

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.7), Java 1.5

Uh, though we don't necessarily like it that's exactly how the computer software and hardware business operates. Your observation with Java is just a sign of the Tiger senescence that started with the release of Leopard. If you look on the software websites there's a lot of, "Requires OSX 10.5 with Intel processor," already.
