iPhone stuck on Headphone Setting

Question

iPhone stuck on Headphone Setting

After using the headphones, my iPhone is now stuck on the headphone setting. It does not allow any sounds to come through it without the headphones connected. I tried powering off & resetting.

Any other suggestions? I really don't want to restore & lose all my data.

Very common post. Try this; Insert and remove the headphones several times in a row.

make sure the earphone hole is clear of debris, then try plugging and unplugging the headphones a few times

I've done that over & over, as it fixed the problem before.
I just minutes ago decided to reset some of the ipod settings... setting the EQ to something different worked. Weird. But I now can use it earbud free!

Resolved, by changing the EQ settings... seemed to juggled iPhone's brain.
