Does Line 6 equipment work with Logic?

I am looking to buy the Line 6 TonePort GX USB Recording Interface to run my guitar through. I am new at this but basically want to be able to mix this audio in logic (adding effects and digital instruments to the project). I have guitar rig 2 loaded on my computer and am hoping I can use that software with the audio input also. Would this work with this Line 6 interface?

I am hoping I don't have to create an audio file with the Line 6 software and then add it into logic, I'd much rather record right into logic if possible.

Hi,

What does the manual say about your Line6? Does it work with a Mac? Yes? Then you're there. Set it up according to : the Manual.

I have the Line 6 Pod X3. I plug my guitar or bass directly into the Pod and have the pod connected to my Mac via USB. I open Logic and Pod X3 shows up as both sound source/destination alongside my Apogee Duet. I select the Pod X3, create an audio track and select the Pod as a plug and start playing. The sound is fantastic recording directly into Logic from the Pod via USB.

hi line6 is working with logic, but ... as far as i have followed their mac support history, which i did quite a bit, the mac support could be better, I have 3 line6 interfaces and all had some problems under macos, some problems might have been causes by apple, but overall support and fix/update performace of line6 for mac is not the best.
bug fixes take ages.
