Currently Being ModeratedOct 28, 2008 5:18 PM (in response to golfingpair)I'm having the same problem. I'm using iTunes 7. I had an audio cassette digitially transferred into AIFF files, imported them into iTunes, titled them, added artwork, and burned the playlist to CD. But when I tried opening the CD on a different computer with iTunes, all the titles were gone, replaced by the generic Audio CD and Track 1, Track 2, etc. (And of course the artwork was gone too.)
I don't see an option for CD Text. When I looked for that phrase in the Help menu, it said to go to File –> Export Song List, but there is no such option. There is an export option that exports a text file of your song titles and other info to a document on your desktop, but I don't see how that would help.
Please help! :OiMac G5, Mac OS X (10.3.x)
Currently Being ModeratedNov 6, 2008 12:27 PM (in response to Ultima Thule)The CD Text option is not what you think it is. Unpopular CD's, home made compilations or simply CD's that have not had their info submitted to the CDDB will not show up in your itunes.
I found this inconvenient and disturbing as well when i researched the issue and if someone can prove me wrong please do so. I have disc replicated professionally and it would be embarrassing if I didn't know how to do this straight out of the burner...
