Unknown error (-609)

You've got to be kidding me! I have the same problem and for days no one has been able to figure this problem out and respond to it. I have been on many other forums for different things and it seems as though there are very few solutions to quite a large problem base. Can someone please respond to this -

I have the same problem and cannot find anything giving a reason why its happening.

I'm glad Apple software is just as mysterious as windows, with its random number errors its really easy to understand whats going on.

I'm getting the same thing. I have dial-up and this appears to be the program itself because I never see any activity to the internet when I try to get artwork. It immediately comes up with...Artwork for "your album here" could not be found. An unknown error occurred (-609).
Since my songs are all on an external Hd, I may try reinstalling Itunes on this pc. I also am running iTunes version 8.0.1.11

what i did when i got the error message is shut down all applications and restarted my comp. and it worked like a charm found all the artwork hope i was useful ~Junya~!!!!
