Fading Tracks

I have purchased an album, Ministry of Sound The Singles and am trying to get rid of the gaps between tracks? Have followed the help suggestions and tracks play on computer with fade and no silent gaps, but once synched to ipod, the silent gaps appear again? any ideas?
