can you burn dvd movies from itunes on other software.

i have heard a lot of people say you can't burn dvd movies you buy from itunes to play back on a dvd player but you can convert the file to another format that plays it back, i just want a easy converter that does this but not cost so much, well i just want to make sure before i go buy movies after movies and only can play back on my macbook will be a waste of money i say, so anyone know a good program out there,

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Correct.

but you can convert the file to another format that plays it back,

Incorrect.
They are DRM portected and cannot be converted to anything else.

yeah i know that but the one converter i knew that did everyone was VisualHub but now they are no longer in business anymore, so you need like a authorizing tool to convert it to DVD.

VisualHub did not convert movies/videos purchased from the iTunes Store for burning to DVD. It did the reverse; converting a DVD for use in iTunes. As Chris said, there is no way to convert a video or movie purchased from the iTunes Store and burn it to a video DVD.

okay then, but was just trying to find away that you could, like has to be a hacker out there that has done it, well no point buying movies on itunes and tv shows.

You can't. Period. And further discussions about how to get around the copy protection on items from the iTunes Store will just get this thread removed by the Discussions Hosts.

No download store I know of allows burning a movie to a video DVD; it's just not allowed by the movie studios. So if you want a movie on DVD, buy the DVD.For the foreseeable future, that's going to be your only option.
