Screen Flicker

Anyone getting screen flicker in the top horizontal 1/3 of the screen? Rather irritating. Initially I thought it had something to do with Firefox3 until I noticed it happening while in other apps with Firefox was closed.

..and no I'm not using a KVM.

I have a new MacBook Pro 15 inch that I bought the first day they were available. I too have noticed screen flicker. It only occurs on the left side of the screen and is only noticeable at somewhat reduced brightness. I'm trying to decide whether to take it back to Apple for repair or replacement, or whether it should be considered within the working parameters of the screen, as it's not apparent at "normal" brightness, i.e., the brightness most people probably use most of the time. Has anyone consulted Apple about this and got a response?

I ordered my MBP the day they were announced. After about three days of use, I get intermittent flickering of the bottom 1/3 of the display that looks like snow on an analog TV not tuned to any station. It doesn't last long - < 1/2 second. I generally use an external display (90%) and haven't noticed it yet on the built in display. Has anyone else noted this behavior? It seems to be occurring with more frequency.

The flickering is like there's a bad connection. A whole swath of the screen becomes snow. It flickers in and out and then just resolves. I've since had the whole screen come up snow and then spontaneously return to normal after about 2 - 3 seconds. It is very annoying. I've also had the computer wake from sleep and refuse to show anything on either monitor when it comes out of sleep and require a reboot. I can hear interaction that indicates the computer is otherwise running the software fine - just not visuals.
