Trackpad -- How to Copy & Paste & etc

I love my new MacBook. I even love the trackpad.

But how to do the things I'm used to doing with a mouse? I can't seem to select more than one line at a time --

MacBook 2.4, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Try this: press and hold the trackpad with your thumb, then use your index finger to select the lines. Just remember to keep your thumb pressed down hard enough to keep the trackpad "clicked". I use this method to drag and drop files.

You can also use the two-finger click to invoke the context (right-click) menu. Just be sure the preference is turned on.
