HDV-Apple Intermediate 1080i-60 vs HDV1080i-60

I notice FC Express only allows 3 settings for HiDef. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Apple Intermediate 1080i-60 and the other 1080i-60?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.5), 4 ext hard drives in a firewire 400 daisy chain (750gb, 300gb, 1tb, 1tb)

I think you will find there is one setting ending in "60" which is for NTSC footage, one ending in "50" for PAL and a "720p30" one which is for people shooting 720p (NTSC) progressive footage.

If you have updated to FCE 4.0.1 you will also have these settings:-

AVCHD-Apple Intermediate Codec 1440x1080i60

AVCHD-Apple Intermediate Codec 1920x1080i60

AVCHD-Apple Intermediate Codec 1440x1080i50

AVCHD-Apple Intermediate Codec 1920x1080i50

These are for people using AVCHD cameras.

Which one you use depends on whether you are NTSC (60) or PAL (50) and which recording method your camera is set to ........ 1440 or 1920.
