Screen turns black when gaming?

Hi guys, I bought a MacBook Pro 15" three days after they were released.. everything was going just fine until yesterday, when I was playing Call Of Duty 4, and suddenly my screen went black. I closed/opened the lid and still it was black, everything else was running just fine cause I could hear the game running through my speakers.. but the screen wouldnt turn back on no matter what. I had to use the power button to shut it down and get the screen back.

this happened like 4 times yesterday (all of them while gaming)

should I take it back to the store?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

and maybe all 9600 chips are potentially defective, but i believe this is not what is causing the BSOD (see above)

I'm going to have my W8841 MBP replaced here soon.

Hopefully the first two months or so are the only ones affected by this.

I am having this same problem.

Apple, fix this. With so many problems, this should replaced if not patchable.

Just in case Apple only reacts to numbers, I add my complaint: I also have the black screen - hang up problem when my graphics card (GT9600) overheats.

I'm waiting for my MBP replacement that will be built in next days.
What temps are you experiencing wiyh yours ?
On my last laptop i've seen more than 105°c.

Okay, let me try to get something straight here. Does the BSOD only happen in Windows when playing games? Are people getting it in OS X at all, either playing games or doing anything else?
