"An error occurred while trying to join "XXXX." Please try again."

I have had no trouble connecting to public wifi networks on my MBA, and I am using it often because I'm currently in graduate school. For some reason, my home network is the only one that won't operate.

Comcast was installed in my apartment, and because of some issue with the installation, it never worked. I was on the phone with Comcast for a couple of hours until there was nothing they could do to help. Since then it has been completely unresolved.

I have a Bootcamp partition and on the Vista side of my laptop, it works wonderfully. Every other computer can connect, but when I try, the message "An error occurred while trying to join "XXXX." Please try again," comes up each time.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same/similar problem. While I can JOIN my home network, I can't access the internet through it (can access internet through public wifi network). All of my other Macs have no problem with my home network. I get the error message when I try to connect my MBA to my other Macs for filing sharing, etc. I assume that the problem connecting to the internet through my home network and the problem joining my other Macs are related but have no idea what the solution is.
