Animated wallpapers and non jailbreak

Hey guys, I have the amazing Iphone 3G and its lovely, but i'm wondering why apple haven't sorted out an app yet for animated wallpaper. I really do not want to jailbreak my phone, it cant be that hard if kids can jailbreak a phone that easy a few days after release surely apple could have prevented it by letting us change basic backgrounds like every other phone on the market.

Even basic nokia's are able to do it & we have the future product in our hands, maybe its just me and it may be a silly thing to have animated wallpaper but it helps make the phone more personal.

pc, Windows XP

You can use any kind of image as a wallpaper. Just make sure you sync it with iTunes.

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
2. In iTunes, select the iPhone.
3. Go to the photos tab.
4. Sync photos (or any other image in a supported file format like jpeg) from the desired location on your computer.
5. On your iPhone go to photos.
6. Select the image you like to use as a wallpaper.
7. Tap on the arrow in the lower left corner.
8. Tap 'use as wallpaper.

That's it you're done.
