iTunes ignores CD auto-eject until its loses and regains focus
On my Vista64 iTunes installations I noticed the following problem when iTunes is configured to automatically eject CDs after importing them (Edit -> Preferences -> General Tab -> "When you insert a CD:" set to "Import CD and Eject"):
If iTunes is in focus (i.e. is the active window) when the CD is auto-ejected, it keeps showing the CD contents as if it is still in the drive. If a new CD is inserted in this situation, it is ignored.
Only after iTunes loses and regains focus (e.g. use alt-tab to switch to another window and then back to iTunes) with the CD-drive empty, does iTunes update its display (moving back to Library view and removing the CD tray from its left pane.
I've has this phenomenon in all version of iTunes since I first installed it this August.
Is there something I can do about this? And if not, where do I submit this as a bug report for a fix in future versions?
