Can't delete iPhone apps!

Hey guys,

I've got an iPhone 3G with 2.1.

Every since I've had the phone, I've downloaded quite a few apps. However, I have also deleted quite a few.

Although it appears that deleting the apps with the small white 'X' isn't doing anything. Because every time I log in to my iTunes account in the AppStore... ALL the apps I have downloaded in the past appear on my home screen again and start downloading!
It's really starting to annoy the heck out of me... because lately they will randomly appear without even going into the AppStore.

Even the apps that I keep installed on my phone re-download. Although not all of them.

I've tried everything... deleting from iTunes (it only shows the apps I currently have on my phone)... and likewise there are only the same apps in the Mobile Applications folder.

Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this? It is really quite annoying.

Thanks,
Andy

That's part of the problem see.
None of the apps I want to delete are coming up in iTunes or in the iTunes Apps folder. It only shows the apps I have, and want, on my iPhone.

It's only when I log into my iTunes account that the apps I have previously deleted begin to download again.
And I'm talking at least 19 apps. I've figured that switching the phone off stops the download, then I can delete them all when I turn the phone back on. But it becomes a pain to have to do this all the time!

So yeah, in conclusion, can't find any of the apps in iTunes nor any where on my computer. The only download when I log into iTunes on my phone.

Strange huh?

Any suggestions?

Cheers
