Switching on and off the short keys.........?

Can you turn the short cut keys off (all of them) in one go?
I've been sitting with my 1 year old, playing some online games which are basically 'hit the buttons and watch what happens' - but we have to stop every couple of minutes to close the new window he opened, or the spotlight search he began, or delete the new folder he created etc etc......you get my point........!

I unchecked everything in sysprefs but it doesn't seem to effect the sshort keys for safari?
any suggestions would be great.
