Ive lost all my playlists on itunes, i need it back, (HELP?)

Ive lost all my custom playlists on itunes,
but i still got them on my iPod,
and ive still got all my songs on the library (itunes)
I just want all my playlists back, it took me such a long time to sort it all out.

Oh, please help, im so desperate, is there software outhere where i could update iPod to mac, and have all my playlists on iPod to itunes.

After 86 minutes and $169 to pay for the Apple Care system so that a tech service representative would even talk to me, he confirmed that there is no way to pull Playlists back from an iPod to iTunes. Apple's Engineers are supposedly working on a fix to the update for future upgrades, but if you lost your playlists, they are gone forever now.

I suggest a formal complaint campaign to Apple Customer Service since it appears this has happened to seeral people with custom playlists of 100's of songs.
